About Tracy Hoobyar

People. Systems. Impact.
It’s all personal.

I’m Tracy Hoobyar. Coach, entrepreneur, systems builder, and a person with a very full life.

I help capable people shape what comes next, with practical tools and respect for what they’ve already built.

How I approach the work →

I didn’t set out to build a theory of personal agency.

I kept needing one.

Teen mom. Entrepreneur. Caregiver. Leader. Systems builder.

I’ve built businesses while raising a family and helping care for aging parents. I’ve also had to rebuild after losing my home in the Davis Fire.

Across those seasons, I kept coming back to a practical question: how do you honor what matters and still make room for what you want next?

I wanted ways to think clearly, make decisions, work with other people, and follow through when life had opinions about my plans. It usually did.

Those questions sit at the heart of the Personal Agency Architecture: seven connected domains for shaping how we live, work, and respond.

The builder in me

I’ve been a builder for a long time.

As a kid, I programmed a simple game on a Texas Instruments computer. Building things has been part of my life ever since.

That instinct now shows up in business systems, coaching tools, and the questions I ask. I want to understand how things work and what would help them work better for the people involved.

Curiosity first. Then something you can use.

Start with your reality.

You bring experience, judgment, and a life you’ve already built. I want to understand what works, what matters, and what you want next.

Ask the useful question.

A good question can reveal an assumption, clarify a choice, or make an option visible. We get specific enough to do something with the answer.

Make it practical.

The work might become a conversation, a decision, a different response, or a better system. It needs a place in your actual life.

People. Systems. Impact.

A full life is the point.

I’m also a mom, a daughter, and Marley’s person. The people I love are part of the life I’m designing, too.

There is room here for serious work, a sense of humor, and being an actual human. That’s the kind of work I want to do, with people who want to make something meaningful possible.

More life.
More good.
